Our Story

How Jasminity Cleaning came about

Jasminity Cleaning started from a straightforward observation: a lot of people need reliable cleaning help, but finding someone they can actually trust in their home is harder than it should be.

We started small, working with a handful of clients in Folkestone who needed a regular cleaner and wanted someone consistent. Word spread, and over time we grew into a small team covering residential, deep clean, end of tenancy, and office work across the area.

We have not tried to grow faster than we can handle. The people on our team are trained, vetted, and covered under our insurance. We keep the team small because consistency matters — clients prefer seeing the same face each visit, and we think that makes for better work.

We are based at 96 Dover Rd, Folkestone, and cover the surrounding Kent area.

Consistency

We try to send the same team member to each property every visit. A cleaner who knows your home and your preferences produces better results than starting from scratch each time.

Transparency

We tell you what a service includes, what it costs, and what to expect. We do not make promises we cannot keep or use language designed to sell rather than inform.

Accountability

If something is not right after a clean, we want to know. We follow up with clients and address any concerns directly rather than leaving them to chase us.

Our Thinking

Why consistency matters in cleaning

It sounds obvious, but it is worth explaining. Consistency in cleaning is not just about showing up on time — it is about maintaining a standard visit after visit, with the same attention to the same areas.

When you have the same person cleaning your home regularly, they begin to understand it in a way that makes the service more efficient and more thorough. They know which areas need extra attention, they know how you like things left, and they can spot when something has changed — a leak under the sink, a stain that needs treating differently — and mention it.

Rotating cleaners or using different people each time breaks this dynamic. Standards can drift without anyone intending them to. Clients end up having to re-explain their preferences repeatedly. Things that should be noticed get missed.

This is why we have kept the team small. We would rather work with fewer clients and do the job properly than scale up in a way that dilutes what we offer.

Our Journey

How we have developed

2019

Started with three clients

Jasminity Cleaning began with a handful of regular residential clients in Folkestone. Everything was handled by one person to start with.

2020

Added first team member

Demand grew through word of mouth. We brought on our first team member and began taking on more residential work across the Folkestone area.

2021

Expanded into end of tenancy

A number of clients asked about end of tenancy cleaning. We developed a structured approach for this and began working with letting agents and landlords.

2022

Introduced office cleaning

Several small businesses in Folkestone and Ashford approached us about commercial cleaning. We began offering this as a dedicated service.

2025

Four-person team, growing steadily

We now operate with a four-person team and continue to grow through referrals and repeat clients. Our focus remains on quality rather than volume.
